I Am From: An Architecture of Memory is a series of linocut block prints that I created from sketches and photo that reminded me of home, history, and stories of Lancaster. I used early 1900’s photographs reminiscing our post industrial downtown centers as the heart of commerce and interaction and of a time when efficient and exciting transportation was once by trolley instead of petroleum dependant buses and cars. Current images from farms to rooftop views depict my stomping ground in the intersection and partnerships between built and rural environments and communities.
